     Heard from him. Apparently, he's at home but the wife and kids are visiting her sister in SoCal. That's one city over from me, but I'm not going to demand a visit.

   Listeria is a big deal. There used to be a dairy in #SoCal that produced raw milk, but I have not seen their products in years. AFAIK, they weren't the ones contaminated, but regulators will tackle every possible source when responding.

    Downtime was because the server had a SSD that failed. No data from LoadAverage was on that SSD, but the hypervisor OS was, so that made things dicey. Sorry for the fuss.
