   I’m starting to doze off because of the heat. It reminds me of “portable classrooms” in August / September. Classes between 13:00 and 16:00 were really tough to stay awake through, no matter how much I tried.

   Good morning. I spent most of yesterday on the road, so today I’m going to try to catch up with the things I missed.
   
   Got to see a couple of nephews that I haven’t seen in a while. One was returning from physical therapy (workplace injury followed by surgery). The other was returning from work. #Fave_nephew was still at work, as was my niece #LG.

    As for banning end-to-end encryption, one of the best arguments is this: right now, a lot of big search, social networking, and chat / messaging sites are US-based, but banning E2EE will immediately handicap them in the rest of the world and move everyone to foreign providers that will not have this problem. In effect, this bill could kill the economy's tech sector.

    @simsa03 I got rid of my oldest hardware a few years ago, so I don't know what (still) works for 32 bit systems anymore. When things open up again, ask your local computer shop if they can find and install more of the right kind of memory. If they can get your system up to 4GiB, it may be easier to find something that you can use.
