      I remember being on a walk in the San Gabriel Valley (SGV) area of #Los_Angeles County in #SoCal when helicopters sprayed malathion laced bait to knock down a Mediterranean Fruit Fly (medfly) infestation.
      
      I don't know of any ill effects, but I did get sprayed that night.
