C’mon, dude. I don’t care which candidate you endorse, but at least have a reason other than “hurts my wallet”. How does the plan affect others? How does it affect the federal deficit and national debt?

That’s amazing. Just two things appear to have been necessary:
* a suitable background to be aware of tools for solving similar problems
* a different viewpoint (different enough that the tools used were not the same ones used by all the others that had tried to solve it)

@vegos I'll read it and see whether I think it would persuade my younger sons to vote. Hopefully it isn't just about holy left wing versus evil right wing, because neither one is a fan of either wing.

I think Gov Newsom cancelling the high speed rail line was a dumb move. Imagine travelling from #NorCal to #SoCal in two to three hours instead of eight to ten hours. Even if governor.next restarts to program, it will take years and millions or even billions of dollars to make the abandoned infrastructure usable again.

Actually, some of the discussion I'm seeing around it sounds like there's a very short time between reporting bugs (some of which are likely security issues) and public exposure. Batten down the hatches, we're in for a typhoon.

Looks like the #tsunami from the M7.5 #earthquake a few hours ago was small. Up to 2.3 feet (less than 1 meter) so far. There's always the chance that it will enter a bay or something at an angle that increases the height, but otherwise, it seems to be safe as long as you're at least 3 feet / 1 meter above sea level.

@mangeurdenuage I would guess it has to do with the color of laser light they use in the surgery. Different colors of flesh absorb or reflect various colors of light differently.
