   Interestingly, the modern Estes !rocket "starters" are spec'd as having an all-fire current of *2 Amps*, and my lithium 9V peaks at 1.2A. I'm assuming Estes figures are conservative....

     Estes "Sonic igniter" all-fire current is spec'd as *4 Amps*. Cold-weather !rocket launch seems to be its own set of interesting problems.

     @cmhobbs, IIRC it was ~55°F for the Grav-Mass launch (unusually warm!), and the only successful ignitions were from the batteries that were still warm from having been in my pocket.
