12V'ifying the household. I'll make it prettier later. A solar panel + battery array gets and stores my power. Should be enough for laptop + some lights. Maybe networking gear too.

@moeeee I have a better supply of cheap/leftover cigarette plug adapters and sockets than British plugs though. That's my simple reason to use them so far. But thanks for the great tip!
@mikael who is building a 24V server basement uses some Anderson plugs which can be rated up to 40A or more I believe! (but I of course don't have the cabling for that anyway .P)
