I'm trying to work out what medium size enterprises are doing for storage. Is anybody rolling their own SAN/NAS devices or is it proprietary hardware/managment stack all the way ? !sysadmin !lazyweb -

They have about <50TB storage ( not all usable ) in 3 PS 4100's . What are other organisations using ? -

@boneidol Medium sized company (150 staff) I saw used server-attached storage, 2x1 TB drives with OS raid. Not necessarily typical or optimal. !Lazyweb #answer
