@knuthollund as others say, make sure their CA is trusted for websites (the other checks are unnecessary and maybe even not recommended).
See if it works by accessing: https://stuff.umeahackerspace.se/ (CAcert).
Also, _what_ warning is your browser showing you? Untrusted certificate authority? Wrong domain/host name? Expired cert?

Works for me, @knuthollund! Btw, your #nginx should be configured to host each separate vhost over #HTTPS too. (right now it serves the q. subdomain for https://kollektivet0x242.no/ :] - with just HTTP it works as it should)

I meant that if you access the bare domain - kollektivet0x242.no - you get different sites with HTTP and HTTPS. Because you haven't told nginx that kollektivet0x242.no can also be served with HTTPS!
