@andresinmp I don't think it is. but (just as in the early days of Twitter) the !fediverse is originally peopled mostly by geeks - so if you want to market you can market only to geeks. Once the 'average' population changes (and that is beginning to happen now), more companies would become aware of it and see it as an opportunity for publicity.
