I had a scientific calculator that I bought around 1980. I still used it regularly up until my youngest niece LG threw it in the toilet around 1999. Surprisingly, today's most of today's scientific calculators are not much more advanced.

(This wasn't one of the programmable ones. They were way too expensive back then.)
