   Received a call from Jay at $EMPLOYER. Jay moved to a new position (different employee category) in the agency and is working remotely in support of an office in another state. He's not happy with the job, but this one has steady pay. Says that some personnel changes in HQ-IT are going to mean most local servers will be replaced by cloud instances.      @geniusmusing I’ll try to also learn AWS and maybe Google’s cloud platform. My future is outside the agency (just not sure how far off that future is), and it can only help if I’m able to work in whatever cloud platform an organization wants.
