$EMPLOYER had these tiny Panasonic "Toughbook" mini-laptops. They seemed to be rugged, but the people who were issued these machines started travelling with monitors and keyboards and eventuallythey went back to agency-standard equipment.
Note that even the standard is now smaller, lighter, and more prone to overheating (and SSD failures!) than previous laptops.

@guizzy Lenovo products. $EMPLOYER got rid of its Thinkpads pretty quickly when Lenovo bought the PC business of IBM.
