     @adcock Assuming Tiktok's data collection and ties to China make it unusually dangerous, a straight out ban is also okay. Even a sale to Microsoft is better than getting Oracle involved in non-corporate markets.

     @geniusmusing @adcock I completely agree. I don't want ANY more of my data being collected than is absolutely necessary. As part of my US federal hiring process, there was a lot of data collected. Then the Chinese Army penetrated OPM and got it. I agree that I don't want Tiktok to collect extra data (or to give collected data to China). I also don't want Facebook, Microsoft, …
