I have to export my route from Strava, upload it to ridewithGPS, export it to .fit, and then put it on the Garmin. How does this make any sense? Why can't Strava just give me the .fit file?

  not real sure what was causing all of that pain. Maybe the update from 12.3 to 12.5 changed something? I suspect BitDefender was causing corruption, but whatever, it is working now.
