     It seems I have not described the jconsole issue, here, so I will leave a bit of detail now: The issue with jconsole is that it does not work when forwarding X sessions to my work-provided Mac. I can't get to the server from a home machine, so idk. I could, in theory, set up a VM. I could also try a different X provider other than XQuartz. I also have access to a work Windows m…
