@sean About the drinking water thing, is the water too fouled for some sort of filtering system? Some places, something similar to the Brita pitcher might be enough. I don’t know whether that would help in your vicinity, but if it doesn’t, then next time you’re in a larger town, visit a camping supplies store. I’m sure they’d have something.
