It is hard enough communicating with minors that I’m related to. I can tell you what it would be like with one that I have nothing in common with.

Me: “Hi, how’s school?”
Minor: “Okay.”
Me: (Uncomfortable pause) “Well, it is nice meeting you. Goodbye.”
