   @sampo Are there any RSS reader extensions that still work? Firefox itself was never very good at it. (Opera, however, had a great implementation and threw it away.)

   "Browsers should not handle RSS / Atom / XML" --> wrong, wrong, wrong. They are all very closely related to HTML, and in the case of feeds, the whole purpose is to let one know when a site (HTML) is updated.

     @thatbrickster The reason that Mozilla keeps making dumb mistakes is because they are competing with the same company that has been their biggest funding source for years. They're going to have to figure out another way to fund their organization without ads before they can set a steady course again.
