@xj9 @mangeurdenuage @lain When I was attending uni, I had to take a class where I learned that everything wrong with the world was MY FAULT because I'm a straight male. The next class I had to take taught me that the world's problems are NOT MY FAULT, because I'm Black, not White.

I'd expect that hostile or violent gazing is probably a similar situation.
