   @nds the 'webport' and 'sslport' are used by JS on the client side so you'll need SSL if your instance is HTTPS to avoid mixed-content. The 'controlport' doesn't need SSL if 'controlserver' is localhost

     @nds Oh I thought Realtime was the common mechanism used by Comet, Meteor, etc.

     @nds One thing I want to look into is an option to provide a (reverse-proxied) path instead of a port. Less trouble that way, I think.
