    it sure is pulling in a later version of ure ... I've never seen synaptic fail at something aptitude could do, too :-/

    hmm interesting; it says it wants to REMOVE (synaptic did not) a load of stuff for that, too (like Abiword, and much more) - I'll let it

    @sazius if I apply a filter and look at backports specifically, there is no uno-lib or ure (visible) there

    using synaptic; installed the (a?) backports repository; LO needs uno-lib3 & ure in versions that are not available, only older ones for OOo
