@gameragodzilla Actually Strife is probably much more to your tastes when it comes to that kind of hybrid. The majority of the RPG element is kept to narrative choices, of which there were quite a few, especially for a game of that era. -

Its hard to kind of communicate how big of a thing it was at the time, but Strife came on a *CD*. This was a time when most games still come on like, maybe 4 high-density floppies. -

@gameragodzilla Actually come to think of it I think Strife is the first example of a game having actually pretty good voice acting. Though it suffers for the compression of the time in ways that are probably obvious if you listen. -
