You will find a lot of "small" jobs with Python, too. So if you don't mind bouncing between a lot of small-yield contracts its not bad at all either. -

COBOL and Java can also net you less frequent but more lucrative contracts. Just expect to be unfucking Maven a lot if you take Java scrips. -

@thrrgilag I have a LOT of old programming tools since my dad was an electronics engineer. Held on to them after he passed away.
