@ajr yeah, @purplehippo found out it adds "/en/" to the end for some reason. Without that it should be fine.
I guess I'll set up a redirect though since thats how GS is linking it. -

@gameragodzilla Basically photoshop is moving several copies of the whole image around in memory at a time to do the layers you have in photoshop and stuff so when that's a 50 meg image for a 300-DPI CYMK print it adds up quickly memory wise, heh -

@gameragodzilla @purplehippo I think we figured out why, for some reason GNU social makes the link go to highlandarrow.com/en/ which 404s, but without the "en" bit its fine -

@gameragodzilla That's why just those three-seven graphic bits can take a bit.
It would be so bad if I had more RAM in this machine but the higher density sticks run 200 bucks per so not really that big a deal -

@gameragodzilla Right now I'm going between a bunch of things that have periods of waiting anyways so it kind of works out. Any git command takes a bit, photoshop ain't exactly snappy with loads and filters for large documents either, etc. I make the graphics for the site in the original res at print quality so when I do get my compilation together I don't have to… -

@gameragodzilla I'd rather be doing too much than too little, but taking on too much work sometimes can be a problem too heh -

@takeshitakenji That provider looks good, although I don't have direct experience with them to offer. The one think I picked up on is billing per amp on power. You will want to check what the overage fees are. As much as DCs will always assure you that this won't be a concern, I know people whom have end up bit by this in very big ways. -

@takeshitakenji I've been quite happy with my datacenter provider although they're not local. I did look into local ones but they were all very expensive for the peering arrangements and setup they have. -

Something most people don't know:
Many GNU social plugins have a /scripts/ directory of their own under their plugin directory with their own scripts to run. -

@takeshitakenji @moonman @moonoffsite If the STOMP plugin is sound that should work at least as far as GS/PA is concerned. It just cares that the server "speaks the same language" after all.
