@kevie Instance was down for about a day and a half because of migration problems and I think I might have lingering SSL problems since the clients are failing over SSL issues. I'll look into this tonight! -

@gameragodzilla The thing is we've seen like stuff with Strife that you can do a FPS-centric hybrid game just fine if you make the RPG elements story based, so its not like its impossible.
You should really play Strife if you haven't btw. -

@gameragodzilla The problem with doing crossover stuff like Shadow Warrior 2 with the roguelike elements is that you end up importing the expectations of both genres. But more than that, if you give me a big interesting world, I'm going to want to explore it and know more about it, and Shadow Warrior 2 didn't really flesh out the world much. In this way, the linear route of the original reboot worked better. -

Obsidian is the developer and they have a long history of development-hell half-baked games that gain cult followings. -
