Here's the thing about short length complaints in a game: if someone is complaining that a game has a short length, it usually comes from a root place of the person feeling like their experience was incomplete in some way. There was something more that should have been there that was not. For instance, I didn't mind the length of Doom 4 because it felt like a tight and complete experience, obvious sequel hook of an ending aside. I did however mind the length of Shadow Warrior 2 because it presented a big open-seeming world that largely feels empty and feels like there should have been much more going on about it.
In Shadow Warrior 2's case, this isn't a huge problem because the underlying game is quite enjoyable, at least if you get it before The Patch, but Tyranny really feel's half-assed, in the particular way that Obsidian has ALWAYS half-assed games which aren't The Stick of Truth.
