   @mmn yes, might be. But many users may have it installed. And here in !gnusocial it is only that keyword #finally that needs to be removed.

   I have patched and cleaned up #Scrolly made by @tuttle and created a merge request: https://git.gnu.io/buttle/scroller/merge_requests/1 There was some structural cleanups required as e.g. external "libraries" are always placed in "extlib" and "scripts" is always used for command-line scripts. cc !gnusocial

   Wouldn't it be better to have notices not loaded at all? I mean, that the backend (which is !gnusocial ) is not loading them? That would cause lesser data transfers between backend and frontend.
