@knuthollund@quitter.no You surely noticed that some of my posts are duplicated. As I see logs at a client side, the quitter . no server returned "HTTP 500" error on a first attempt. Maybe this is due to "Use legacy HTTP protocol" set to "Auto" at my side now...

@vulgon@social.bka.li First, you may need to turn off "Download attachments over Wi-Fi only". And second - this is done asynchronously. Attachments, avatars and timeline loading commands are in the same queue, but have different priorities... -

2. Reboot a device
3. Goto Android settings - Accounts and delete AndStatus accounts if they are still there (are they? )

@vulgon@social.bka.li Actually it's not !AndStatus but Android system, which deletes everything related to AndStatus. Your observation may mean that Android didn't delete "Android accounts of AndStatus type".
I don’t know if this is an Android bug or a feature... You may try to reboot after uninstall before next install. -

As I understand now, lack of chunked encoding support is a real cause of this incompatibility. Chunked encoding is used exactly when content length is unknown beforehand. As suggested here: http://status.hackerposse.com/url/7005 , switching to HTTP 1.0 protocol reliably turns this feature off, and this will ensure compatibility with different legacy/"simple" server implementations. … -

However, solving the problem by configuration/library updates is much easier than redoing client application.
