@nestort Actually I tend to agree with you that clicking on an Avatar associates with selecting this User for some action, e.g. to view his profile or messages... but why not with replying to this User or sending a private message to him?! - You see, this are mostly the same actions, which are associated with selected message (I.e. with clicking on the message "itself")... @hier Links in a Timeline were made not clickable in order to avoid accidental clicking during timeline scrolling.
I agree that it's not obvious that links are clickable in other views.
Should I make links clickable in a Timeline also?

@mcscx Sending to a Group, as you describe it, is very special: you have to tell your application explicitly, who's recipient of such a post. But you cannot find this recipient among message authors in your timelines/message lists.
Having a dedicated "Timeline" for the particular group may give a context (e.g. a group name) to post to the group...

@mcscx I thought Group in GNU social is read-only. You cannot post to it. This is just a logical union of all messages by group members?!

@mcscx Got it. The same works naturally for Pump.io in AndStatus.
For GNU Social I plan to logically "merge/connect" the same users from different instances on a client side. Then AndStatus will be able to create single "fediverse" on a client side...
