   I have now written down on a paper in front of me the 4 things I need to fix in order to have retrieval of parent notices in !GNUsocial. I will initially code this to just do one step up in the hierarchy.
   
   Conversations will likely be much more complete. I'll do it tomorrow I hope. Depends on my mood. Shouldn't take more than some hours including testing. Let's hope for the best.

    @tom @anarchy Actually, I'd add this in config.php: GNUsocial::delPlugin('OpportunisticQM');
    ;)
    And yeah, daemons are recommended. But if you run daemons it's unlikely you'll experience any difference with or without OpportunisticQM. But _with_ OpportunisticQM you would still have federation even if the daemon crashes for some reason.
    
    (if you use an XMPP gateway or so you _need_ daemons)
