   @mmn There is one themes which puzzles me yet with !gnusocial - is it recommended to run daemons or is that not needed? If you run daemons is it possible to turn off the optimistic daemon be turned off?

     @tom @anarchy Actually, I'd add this in config.php: GNUsocial::delPlugin('OpportunisticQM');
     ;)
     And yeah, daemons are recommended. But if you run daemons it's unlikely you'll experience any difference with or without OpportunisticQM. But _with_ OpportunisticQM you would still have federation even if the daemon crashes for some reason.
     
     (if you use an XMPP gateway or so you _need_ daemons)
