Yes, leaving unattached uploads is a bug I'm very much aware of. Mainly due to cp posters leaving their attachments behind despite the account being deleted...

@discussthang The script is in recent nightly, don't remember what I named it but it was relatively logical.

@mayiannah Terabyte sized disks are cheap, storing that data isn't a problem .]
And we only store one copy per uploaded file, duplicates are matched against sha256 of content.

@discussthang No, that wouldn't be simple in many ways. It'd be simple code, but everything else related would be otherwise.

@maiyannah @hannes2peer I've actually made a script for this, but it will also remove !qvitter background images and such (because it removes any 'file' table entries without a related, verified, 'file_to_post' entry). The real solution is however that I make is so that on-delete of a notice it will check if there are other notices using whatever linked files it has an…

@mikael Ooh, and #RivHuset are going to have a seed sharing evening some time soon.
(Moa there wants to start a seed library/hostel for storing peoples' over the winter and then giving them out when spring comes)

@kevinmarks I've got an ugly hack that loads the classic view, checks if there's javascript and then loads !qvitter unless there's a cookie disabling it. So that's why my site delivers more metadata than for your identity ;)

So I should add the rel="me" and h-card stuff to profile URLs on !qvitter, check!

First gig with our own tunes. Damn, this band actually sounds pretty good if I may say so myself :) I think the venue was actually the limiting factor in this case.

Recording some gospel covers with a (very) different band tomorrow, but I think we'll try to get the tunes from tonight recorded at some point too... Stay tuned, and keep an eye out for Container City ;) !musicians !ccmusic

Any gardening interested folk out here? I am thinking about constructing a seed box (heh!) with climate control. An insulated box with a peltier element to manage the temperature and leds for lighting.

The problem with room temperature is that it is mostly too hot for sallads and for some seeds you will only get skinny plants that wont survive.

@kevinmarks Oh, do you mean on the profile page? And not in notices. Yeah, that should absolutely be added. The meta tags etc. that are there now are just copied there as-necessary-for-federation afaik, so let's just add this too .)

@taknamay Do you run your instance on your local network and try to connect to an external IP? Then it's probably your router that thinks "hey, this person is connecting to me!" and maybe - even if you're using port forwarding - it decides that you're a local IP so you can't access the external IP and thus get redirected to the local IP span :)
