@gargron I don't get it. You keep repeating stuff that don't change because the _code hasn't changed_. You're a developer yourself, you know stuff don't happen magically. And most users are just users, not developers. So nothing will just fix itself. Chill out, dude. Stuff can be buggy for a while.

@jookia "go down that road", we've always been down that road. There's been work put into separating and finding the upstream sources for stuff in order to use existing packages, but I most certainly don't want to rely on remote sources. If we use something like composer or whatever then we should keep local copies of all the packages. And that's work we should do before migrating to requiring remote repositories. -

On my side the [permalink] (classic view) refers to https://social.umeahackerspace.se/notice/433669 which is obviously incorrect :) -

@discussthang That's not really what we're discussing. This is a domain that has expired and will be reactivated as soon as the economy department finds/sees the payment. And in case of bank transfers etc you're not going to get any faster with different companies ;)

@loweel I'm sure I could find lots of studies that show that people with secure (no big fears, life is easygoing, friends and family nearby) lives are less likely to commit any crime than people who feel left out of, or discriminated against by, society.
Except maybe commiting large-scale economical fraud. I think that's an upper class kind of thing. -
