   @mmn And I agree if you're going to make changes in a pace faster than we can merge into !gnusocial relatively reliably then maintaining it under a different project name makes sense.
   
   But not because you'd somehow be forced to actively submit all thr changes to upstream otherwise.

    @gunvolt I don't—I'll have to try that. Last time I tried I didn't have succees, but if I recall, it's because I also block everything with NoScript (I don't trust random scripts, even if they're free/libre). I can try it with LibreJS enabled instead. Thanks.

    Wanna know something probably not surprising but still kind of amusing?  Ever since I 100% blocked Microsoft servers and completely disabled Windows Update, Windows 7 bootups went from like about 5min to like 25/30s
