    @b9ace It's against Twitter's API rules to copy and repost tweets on third party sites. Anyone who does that (especially building up functionality based around it) will undoubtedly lose API access and thus no longer be able to import anyway.

    @xor PubSubHubbub ("PuSH", or WebSub as it's called nowadays apparently) has challenge-response with a secret. So you would need the old database as well to be allowed to PuSH into peoples' feeds.
    
    As the (old) name suggests, feeds are not delivered through polling.
