   Absolutely. I think the confusion comes from <i> and <em>(and <b> and <strong) both being styled the same way. Looking at the resulting text, they're indistinguishable, even though they're used for different purposes.

   I approve of their removal. Understanding the subtle difference between <i> and <em> or <b> and <strong> is a rare thing, even more so when applied to images. From your earlier messages about this code I do not think it means what they think it means.

   <i> is intended to convey an alternate voice, or to indicate certain stylings in Western prose (eg. ship names). I don't see how that could possibly apply to images... http://www.w3.org/TR/html5/text-level-semantics.html#the-i-element

    @cmusician Yes, how do I make chord symbols? Are there unicode characters for chord symbols? Are symbols better than names? What is the #POSH ("Plain Ol' Semantic HTML") way to encode it so that other apps can use that info?
