I've been unemployed for about 15 minutes. It's not so bad. -

The #fediverse belongs to us. We can call it whatever we want. :) -

I've also heard "queets" but don't really like that one as much. -

Sure. I've just seen the term "full stack developer" show up as the new buzz word for people who want to stand out. -

Yes. I think the term refers to someone who is familiar with everything from web server through database to actual web code. -

Back in the day, they where called "dents" rather than posts because of Identi.ca. Us old people still refer to them that way. -

Some people don't fit society's stereotype - because society is broken. Although that it is a bit abstract. -

The first 2 games are now freely available and will play well on Dosbox or Wine. Daggerfall is still very playable and immersive. -

Tutorials assume you're on the latest version - but server oriented Linux distros are always a version or 2 behind. Sometimes frustrating. -

I've played the first 2, then Skyrim and now back to Morrowind. There are mods to make it more playable, but you still need Windows. -

It will just have 3 tables in the database and some basic CRUD functionality. Perfect starter project. -

I enjoyed learning Ruby and Rails a lot. I got to a point where the tutorials where broken and didn't have time to debug them so I gave up -

I've written a lot of CGI stuff in Perl. I'm really not a developer but I maintain a lot of PHP and PHP/CodeIgniter stuff at work. -

I've been playing Morrowind (Elder Scrolls 3). I'm making a database that tells me what potions I can make from the ingredients I have. :) -
