   It's the same thing with !Debian -- I don't think they'll backport !GNOME 3 to #Squeeze. It's a #Wheezy thing.

   @lstench The printers were all there, but none of them worked. I've had to reinstall one since the upgrade.

    I'm pretty sure !Debian's default desktop in the netinstall will continue to be !GNOME, not !Xfce.

    @thuban While I really don't see this happening, I would welcome the extra polish !Xfce would get as default !Debian DE.

    Well, since the shutdown is not clean and the kernel has to go to the journal for orphaned inodes, something isn't working right.

    I should add that this suspend problem is when the laptop is not plugged into power. There's enough battery, but that doesn't seem to matter

    My suspended Lenovo laptop periodically just dies (turns all the way off w/o clean shutdown). Hardware fail or !Debian?

    @jpope I figured it out. You have to click the little gray arrows to get #hotot to show the threads. Hotot threads do work in !Debian Wheezy

    @jpope #Hotot has a threaded-conversations extension that isn't installed in my version out of !Debian #Wheezy. Must find that extension.
