@jrobb Redis is currently using ~80mb, which isn’t much but pump hasn’t begun to get really busy yet. -

@jrobb I’m using Redis because I’m more familiar with it as it’s the backend for my #hastebin and #etherpad. Did run MongoDB in the early #mediagoblin days but, I didn’t really mess with it much. -

@jk They may have brought some people but, I don’t think they brought many. Last time i was up there, the parking lot was only 1/3 full. -

@jk IBM opened a facility near me last year with the same 800 job goal. I’ve applied and applied to no avail. :/ -

@jrobb @pztrn Maybe in time you’ll be able to run on one port and urls have another: https://github.com/e14n/pump.io/issues/429 -

@ryanweal @maiki My pump has been running since mid-Jan and the Redis db is now up to 70+ MB. It’s a data hog! :P -

@maiki I’m not sure what is going on there. Can you try using private mode in your browser and see if that helps? -

@jrobb It can be but, webfinger will not work on a non-standard port. -

@jk Up until the upgrade to 5.0, I had been using the built in updater. It seems to work quite well for point releases at least. -
