@weerosie Conversations in undoubtedly the best !XMPP application. Only downer is that it doesn't support Jingle for VoIP (it seems to be capable of using Jingle for file transfers though).

I've still got a bunch of people on Google Talk too. It appears the Presence Protocol part of #XMPP still works, but the eXended Message part is b0rked.

!til #Gajim, the desktop #XMPP client, has an option to set "Window behavior" to "Single window for everything". Until now, I was struggling with its default separate windows for roster and chat.

@luiseme es porque te está llegando el enlace cambiado desde !gnusocial a la dirección de Google y esa no la entiende #osmand
Por !xmpp o correo sí que llega.

@luiseme @escobrice en realidad la prueba era por esto que decía @fanta http://status.hackerposse.com/url/10708 Como sé que tiene el #OsmAnd era para que abriese el enlace con él (y está compartido desde mi OsmAnd). El caso es que si compartes por !xmpp correo u otro medio al abrirlo con un navegador si no tienes OsmAnd te lleva a su página, pero si lo compartes vía !gnusoci…

@escobrice el que no puede con imágenes más grandes es el servidor quitter.es Suelen tener el límite en 1Mb

Yo a veces os mando la foto por !xmpp que #Conversations sí reduce y subo la de la carpeta Conversations ;)

En !xmpp también se hacen salas temáticas permanentes, pero creo que la orientación es diferente al uso que damos a GNU Social
La mensajería la veo como algo más momentáneo, mucho menos persistente que !gnusocial

Hah, looks like there is some issues with queue items and IM daemon in !gnusocial - it failing to handle items for #xmpp transport. Logs: https://sn.pztrn.name/url/15522. I'll dump queue item blob when this occurs again and will bomb @mmn with it :)
