Automatic default avatars, courtesy of !libvisualid #stickfigurator: http://disambiguate.me/stickfigurator
-
@robmyers, the #stickfigurator webtoy uses a restricted #shape-grammar; if you invoke mkvisualid directly, you can get more types of #sigils
-
I think @rozzin should make a downloadable archive of the #StickFigurator plugin. :)
-
Also, @postblue: remote users that `don't have avatars' actually *do* `have avatars' (copies of their sites' default avatars) by default. So you need to tweak your DB a little if you want #stickfigurator (or #gravatar or other #avatar-generator plugins) to handle avatars for remote users.
-
@postblue, yeah--just use addPlugin like any other plugin. #Stickfigurator will handle avatars for any user profiles that don't have one; not groups though.
-
#Stickfigurator is cool stuff. :)

@jpope, #Stickfigurator for #StatusNet is in my site #git repository, if you want it—cf. http://status.hackerposse.com/doc/source ☺
-
Oh, there we go—just got #Stickfigurator working for remote profiles in #StatusNet.
-
@jpope, I have a #Stickfigurator plugin for #StatusNet, too—running on my sites, now. Still working on how to apply it to remote users....
-
Thanks for #flattr'ing #Stickfigurator, @jpope ☺

#RoboHash, a combinatoric !avatar generator—*unlike* #Stickfigurator, more like (but probably better than) #wavatars: http://robohash.org/
-
#Unicornify, an automatic !avatar generator, sort-of like #Stickfigurator... but with #unicorns: http://unicornify.appspot.com/use-it
-
@stav, the !avatars won't look like you, but you may still enjoy #Stickfigurator: http://www.hackerposse.com/~rozzin/stickfigurator.cgi
-
@kete, both #avatars were drawn by #Stickfigurator: http://www.hackerposse.com/~rozzin/stickfigurator.cgi

#libvisualid makes `art' via user-seeded #PRNG. Is the result !copyright'd? By whom? Should #Stickfigurator use the !CC #PD mark, !CC0, or…?
