@vinzv /groups isn't handled by the !qvitter interface, in case you're wondering why it keeps loading the classic view for that URL.
-
!qvitter advance beautifully fast, hope it makes !gnusocial developers improve the federation to make it perfect!! :D

Help pse:
https://social.hfrc.de/hfroese/all ends in a blank screen
GNU social, version 1.2.0-alpha1
Works fine with #qvitter enabled
!gnusocial !qvitter

@hannes2peer This immensely improved my appreciation of the !qvitter interface. Also that you use j and k for navigating, makes vim users like me feel at home.
-
@hannes2peer is it possible to disable #yourls in #qvitter and use the !gnusocial internal URL shortner ?

Am I the only one with !Qvitter who can see the page https://quitter.no/notice/494186 but not the page https://quitter.no/notice/494147? !GNUsocial

@egon0 Either way that isn't an error, just a warning for sloppy code. The result will be that $attachment['thumb_url'] just gets set to null (which will likely be tested later in the javascript, so nothing is broken - just erroneously coded). It could be patched either by always supplying a value for the index 'thumb_url' from !GNUsocial or doing an array_key_exists …

@aroque Grep the plugin files for 'infinite.js' and find where it's included. Then you look at the !qvitter plugin and see how it includes js files. There's a method called Plugin::staticPath(pluginname) or something that can be used to get the _installed_ path.

Quitter.no just reached 3000 users .... !qvitter !gnusocial !qvitterno

Updated !gnusocial and #qvitter. Thanks a lot @mmn and @hannes2peer and everybody else who crontibuted :) http://s.vinilox.eu/dKU
-
FYI: quitter.no and gnusocial.no updated with latest code from master branch (core GNU social and qvitter code). !qvitter !quitterno !gnusocial #gnusocial #quitter

@kris Then you can start your own node which supports capitalism instead ;) (#quitim is just a flavour of !gnusocial, albeit so far buggier than !qvitter)
-
@mariqueerta When you sign up you become and anti capitaslit activist. I am not shall I unsubscribe ? !gnusocial !qvitter
-
@shevek thanks ! But I was talking about classics !gnusocial themes and not #qvitter ;)
-
I just made #Qvitter the default interface, you can always disable it of course. I did that because a lot of people came on !gnusocial because of this twitter-like theme and I think that if it helps to bring more people on GNU social we should show them that we have this twitter-theme. What do you think ?
-
@moshpirit @perro Why don't I see any preview or thumbnail on this dent then? I think !qvitter and !gnusocial only get them from media they like.
-
How can !gnusocial can help you, @hannes2peer, to improve !qvitter if we have no idea of code?

Ooh, the login apparently seems to be rendered without javascript. My mistake. But nevertheless, a prettier (non-js-required) !qvitter fallback might be nice to implement. Something like setting a value with javascript on login, and if it's not sent with the POST qvitter will be disabled for the current session.
