Eh... I don't think I care for chess in any of its variants. It's a popular game in my family but I never go the bug. !go and chess are wildly different games, I think, though.

Good !tzag, !fediverse! It appears as if I have lunch today and the entire evening tomorrow after work open for whatever I feel like doing. This is more notice than I've had in the past. I'm going to try to find a game of !go. Barring that, I need to come up with some kind of nerdy stuff to do... maybe code or something with libernil.net. Here comes the decision paralysis again...

i wish i could pinpoint why playing !go online causes me so much stress. everytime i think i have a cause reasoned, i find it to be inaccurate. i can play correspondence just fine but real-time games on IGS just cause me panic about 100+ moves into the game.
