I don't know how close the !OSM based street photo sites are ready to compete: http://mapillary.com/ and http://openstreetview.org/ (which may not even be !FreeCulture photos). http://openstreetphoto.org/ appears to be dead.

I’ve been thinking about making my new show !freeculture only. The only problem is one of the inspirations for doing a second show is having JoCo on (he isn’t available when Tom is available to record the main show), and he is not free culture: http://www.jonathancoulton.com/store/downloads/ — Maybe I’ll just have JoCo on and then come up with a theme.

If I was starting from scratch, I’d probably want to go with “Free Culture Media” as the name of the organization, but I think there are too many references to !NEF at this point to change the initials. Requiring the same license for derivative works is the “-SA” part of CC. If a work is strictly licensed “CC-BY” then there is no need to “Share Alike”, and so a derivative work can be released under a more (or less) restrictive license.
