When #FeedPoller works, it will add fallback push support which means SubMirror should start working for any feed.
I'll probably remove the #Twitter stuff though, if I hadn't already. Since they have removed everything related to standardized feed formats and non-API-enforced automated information retrieval.

A little background on this is that the #SubMirror plugin only ever worked for #StatusNet with PuSH-enabled feeds. That's why I want to finish #FeedPoller - to make it possible to import "dumb" RSS and Atom feeds as well, without having to set up PuSH-services.

@mcscx2 there's the #SubMirror plugin which lets you replicate RSS/Atom and some non-working hidden code I believe that intended to make it easy to replicate remote feeds based on #webfinger ID. The RSS/Atom feed mirroring doesn't work well though, as it requires a PuSH server right now which most hosts lack. But recently I've pushed the basis of a #FeedPoller plugin …
