@parlementum, "Cool URIs don't change": http://www.w3.org/Provider/Style/URI
-
I’ve been seeing quite a bit of the same. You may have to manually remove the URLs from the db. It’s not so much you being subbed to these no longer existing URLs but that they were subbed to you. My two-step script is for the people you are subbed too.
-
@kevingranade hmm, so you’d have to block them which is not a good option.
-
@kevingranade interesting and perplexing. You are unsubbed from the bad URLs?
-
@jk maybe there should be a committee to approve URLs.
-
@kevingranade zero tolerance policy for changing URLs. ;-)
-
@kevingranade jpope’s bad feed script mayhaps?
-
I’ve updated the blog post concerning the #ScrollToTop !statusnet plugin as well as the plugin itself. http://url.jpope.org/m9 !feds
-
Found/fixed it: that group/site was originally SSL-only, but then I made it `SSL sometimes'; other site still had the HTTPS URLs cached.
-
!feds, any ideas on why my posts to a remote group on one site would throw "Not to the attention of this group"?
-
Ah, gotcha.
-
@jk I’m not sure there. Your site wasn’t private before changing that as I could see the notices you had on there. Seems that there may be a bug in there somewhere
-
@jk I thought SN was setup to be private by default on initial install.
-
@jk @gomerx there are internal file size, user, & monthly limits. See near the bottom of my config http://2tu.us/5bui
-
@jk also you can increase upload limits and/or allow ogg files in the config
-
@parlementum looks like it is upgraded now :)
-
@lnxwalt what’s the version? When I ran it a few hours ago it was only 1.7.x…which is not new enough
-
Yeah, I wouldn’t. ;)
-
Honestly, I don’t have much experience in a multi-user setup. It very well may be the better way to go in that case.
-
I agree that it’s useful, I just feel that it’s a layer that’s unnecessary. I just prefer to go direct with su. ;)
