Twidere has quite a few different api settings when you set up an account but, I haven’t been able to get any of them to work w/SN yet. -

@pztrn I tried a couple of times and couldn’t get it either. Haven’t been able to look at it more though. -

@jim honestly it’s not the daemons. It’s in the db. I have a multiplicity of daemons running all the time. I would clear out your settings on the xmpp web page and reup. -

@jim ‘ps ax | grep imdaemon’ should do it. -

@lnxwalt280 Not sure but, the latest git version does have queuedaemon & imdaemon listed. Using getvaliddaemons would make more sense though… -

@pztrn Ah, maybe it’s just the queuedaemon that is dependent on the core count. I’ll have to take a look in the scripts to refresh my memory. -

@jim Be sure to check ./scripts/stopdaemons.sh to see if queuedaemon and imdaemon are listed with the others (starting on line 26). If not, be sure to add them in so that script will actually kill those daemons. -

@jim Also, the number of times the daemons will run is dependent on the number of cores your machine has. My server is a dual core and the imdaemons run twice. -

@jim Honestly, I think that the XMPP daemons (imdaemon) are running multiple times. -

@jim are you subbed twice to the bot? -

@jim Looking at your version page, I only see the XMPP plugin once, so that’s good. How many times is the imdaemon running? -

@jim You should also note, I’m a #smartass. There isn’t an Echo plugin. ;) -

@jim Yep, the slight change in URL will be enough to make it difficult for a bit. It should clear up in time. -
