It was *cold* - freezing cold - when I went to the Chinese takeaway. Now, it's snowing! that will give pretty scenes, but unfortunately most likely delays for the raiways, too - and I need to go to Amsterdam #tomorrow. Well, we'll see. If necessary, I can postpone it to Sunday - as long as I make it to the travel fair in time. For now, off to my sleep chair now! Good night !tzaf !fediverse !tempfix.

@silverwizard Actually, both the #Mastodon software and !GNUsocial software use the #OStatus protocol, as do #Diaspora, #Friendica, #Hubzilla and others, which we on !GNUsocial call the !Fediverse (apparently folks on Friendica have another name for that federated network)

Oh no, I'll be sorry to see https://cybernude.org go away. Would you consider wiping it out and setting up a new instance at the same address? After the #bifurcation I found I couldn't restore my identi.ca dents to sn.jonkman.ca, but I found that participating in the !Fediverse was far more important than preserving old messages -- I haven't missed the old content at all.

The !gnusocial and !postactiv groups do not exist as an easy means of promotion. If you kind of want to be like "hey guys, I have a question" or just get the attention of everyone, I'd argue that's more what the !fediverse group is about.

Hmmm, someone mentioned fediverse.org and I went to have a look - but from the footer that site links to gstools.org and that domain seems to be expired. Does anyone !fediverse know what happened?
