One advantage to local shopping: I can send each child's items in one box. At one time, he knew that every tine a box came, tbere was something for him inside.
When I started ordering online, each item arrived separately over a week or two timespan. -

In any case, when I installed it there was no NIC from the hypervisor and this seems to have gotten the install all in a tizzy.

@musicman Ah, I don't currently run #CentOS. I do have #Fedora and #SuSE (OpenSuse Leap, IIRC) on two old laptops. -

can't use ifup to getting networking to work. there is something called wickedd. I can get it to populated resolv.conf with some stuff, but still isn't working. -

I think #SuSE 6.1 was my first distro. (I actually paid for a CD set.) Followed shortly by the old #Red_Hat 6.1, then RH 6.2, then #Caldera OpenLinux 2.2.
When Caldera bought Santa Cruz Operation and renamed themselves The #SCO Group ... abandoned their Linux distro and started suing Linux vendors, I moved to #Fedora. -

@musicman I guess I haven’t used it enough to notice. I mean, it is an RPM based distro that uses a completely different set of tools than the Red Hat family, so there is that.
