     @armistace I think the best way is to find a project you like with a relatively small codebase (not stuff like Firefox or LibreOffice, but maybe some small Gnome utility or whatever) and check their bug/issue list. Either to find something you think you can solve or look at something that is already fixed to find out what they did!
